Renewal
What is the difference between renewal and re-registration with the Nepal Nursing Council?
Renewal applies when you reactivate your license within 95 days of its expiry—lighter documents, lower fee, and a short turnaround. Re-registration applies after that window: the council asks for more supporting documents, the fee is higher, and processing often takes much longer (commonly around three months). Our renewal calculator detects which path applies and only asks for documents your tier needs.

Are COGS and verification the same process?
In most cases, they follow the same documentation and processing workflow at the council. The authority you are dealing with may call it COGS, verification, or standing confirmation—the difference is usually the label, not the Nepal-side steps.

Is an NNC verification letter the same as a Certificate of Good Standing?
Practically yes: both follow the same workflow at the Nepal Nursing Council. The variation is mostly wording and addressee for your overseas regulator or employer. When you apply, specify the exact wording and the destination address on your form or remarks so the issued package matches what they expect—including sealed-envelope delivery when the council requires it.
